At the beginning and the ending of each bootcamp session we do a times Dynamic test which combines cardio and strength aspects. We do the same one at the beginning and end so that we can see how much we've improved.
This is the test from last camp.
Because I can't run, I had to do 75 kettle swings (with an 18lb kettlebell) for every lap.
My time in the first week was- 40:43
and the end of camp time was- 16:40
They said that it was by far the most improved time they'd ever seen!
This is the test for this camp, I appearently can handle more, so for this test, instead of the laps my kettle swings were increased to 100 per lap.
I went to both the morning and nigh session, so by the end of the day I'd done over 1,000 kettle swings!!!
Can you say OUCH?
My morning time was- 33:16
and my night time was- 20:22
so I increased my time dramaticlly in a matter of hours which was cool!
I think that part of the reason it took so long in the morning was that it was so hot!
I'm curious to see what my end-of-camp time ends up being!
The other huge thing?
I've graduated to one armed kettle swings!!
(Yes, with the same 18lb kettlebell!!)
OUUCH!!
Not easy!
But who in their right mind would think it was?
I'm currently on a rotation of 20 right arm, 20 left and 20 regular then repeat for 15 minutes straight or so.
I've been horrible about updating but will try to do MUCH better! I can't believe this challenge is over so soon!
How are you all doing??
As for my weight, I'll make that another post because I really want this post to stay a happy one!
Peace, Love and Skinny Jeans!
