I did my first 3k yesterday!
It was at a race with 10,000 or 12,000 other people (though some did the 3k and some did the 10k)!

I did it in 30:06. This makes it just over a 16 minute mile.
I'm just proud I finished!
And on top of that I ran about a fourth to a half of it!
And even more than that, I can't wait to sign up for a 5k!!
This is coming from a person who a mere 2 months ago had trouble walking across the street without getting completely winded and needing to use a rescue inhaler!
During this flab-to-fab challenge, I've gained weight but I've also gained a lot of muscle.
And I've lost inches which to me is even more important (Ok, well that's a lie. Everyone hopes to watch the number on the scale go down, not UP when they're working their tails off!) but I have lost inches none the less.
For now?
