I did my timed mile at boot camp today as this is the last week of the 4-week camp!
Four weeks ago I hit 15:58 which was HUGE because that was 4 minutes off my best time ever!
Today I clocked in at 14:44! That's over a minute off of my time in just four weeks!! That also brought me under 15 minutes which has been a milestone goal for me for the last 3 years!
I'm stoked!
I also had to do a bunch of kettle swings today and this time four weeks ago I could get 5 swings in a row if I tried really hard at that felt like it was going to kill me. Today I did a set of 35 in a row!!
I feel so much stronger than I did at the beginning of the boot camp and it's SO reassuring to see measurable proof!
I went over my calorie goal by 68 calories today but I'm okay with that and think that's even pretty good seeing as I was so hungry.
