AAAAHHHHH!

To say that I'm dissappointed would be an understatement. I'm upset. I'm angry. I'm fed up.

I weighed in.

220
[up from 212.5]
I gained 7.5 lbs this week.

I don't know what to do!

Here's a peek into my exercising schedule during the week.

Monday [3 1/2 hours]
9-10-boot camp
10:30-12-modern dance
6-7-boot camp

Tuesday
None

Wednesday [3 1/2 hours]

9-10-boot camp
10:30-12-modern dance
6-7-boot camp

Thursday
None

Friday[2 hours]
9-10-boot camp
6-7-boot camp

Saturday [1 hour]
8-9-boot camp

Sunday [1 hour]
8-9-boot camp

That's 11 hours a week!!
I don't know about you but I think that's a lot!

I can tell I'm getting stronger but I'm also gaining weight.

The doctors have NO ideas, NO answers.
I just started a thyroid medication on Monday.
Hopefully that'll help.
Other than that?

I'm looking into Gluten Free.
(Though the minute a product says Gluten Free, 99% of the time they've added soy which I'm allergic to.)

I've gained 22.5 lbs in 4 weeks.

It makes no sense!

I don't know what to do.

So I'm going to keep on going.

No letting it get me down or stop me.

There are 7 weeks left.

I'm looking those skinny jeans in the buttons.

I WILL go from Flab to Fab!

I think I may have to start posting EVERYTHING I eat on here so I can see if there's something different I can be doing food wise.

What do you do when you're having a rough weigh in?
Any words of wisdom?

  1. Is it possible that the weight you gained is muscle weight, not fat?
Good luck on your journey. Even though you haven't lost weight, it still sounds to me like you are doing really well and healthy. :)

  2. Krissy I'm so sorry this weigh in was rough. You could try an elimination diet to see what food intolerances you have, such as gluten. I've tried this one before, http://www.daxmoy-pts.co.uk/ELIMINATION/. It is free and worth a shot.

And yes, I think you should post your food, it may enlighten you or help us help you.

  3. I was juts about to say the same thing (The Princess) Alot of times...especially since you are really working out hard, you could be gaining a lot of muscle.

Don't get discouraged. Just keep doing what you are doing...and do take breaks cause girl...you are wearing me out just reading about your exercising!! LOL

Keep your chin up and focus on the new you! I hope the new medicine will work better for you!

  4. Krissy- when you go into your doctor, and he looks at you like doctors do (you know, with that "have you been eating oreos lately?" look) then you have the ultimate satisfaction of giving him YOUR LOOK ("I worked my butt of and did everything right, so there! :P") and knowing that there is something else going on with your body. It is not your choices that are doing this. I think it's the combo of the meds and all that kettleball you have been working. ;) Keep doing things right, you are going to get there. And we are right here with you. Heck, we can pile up and road trip it and give your doctor the stink eye with you!!!! Hang in there, hon!!! It's all gonna work out!
